Excerpt’ from my personal blog:
Was rushing a report in office the other day…and well after working on it for hours.. when it was 90% done… well the document was lost in the system although I ”saved” the document many times..so since it was lost i had to re-do it from scratch….
“Well the important lesson learnt from this episode wasnt to “always make sure i save my document”..but instead through this encounter, I was reminded of this one fact that God was telling me….
That no matter what we do or attempt to do… nothing beats putting God first in life…cos God knows the best for us..the best decisions we have to make, the best person we are going to share our lives with, the best job for us etc… and It is only HIM that can save and he has already provided that saving grace for us… through Jesus Christ…
I am glad that I am already saved…and then i remembered that many are still not saved..and are Lost… the feeling of being lost or wandering in the lost (as to when i was looking for my lost document) was real bad.. in life we try soo many other ways to be happy and find satisfaction in the things we do… but actually forgetting the very basis of where Christ died on the cross for..
I thank God for the reminder that only He saves and have the ability to save…and Thank God that i am already saved and am a vessel used by him to reach out to many more =) “
Blessed week ahead everyone….be thankful for God’s saving grace upon you and be reminded of His Love for us alll

To God be the glory!!! GELebration turned out to be a blast, although turnout wasnt what we expected.. but nonetheless, it didnt stopped us from having an awesome time of praise and worship on Saturday..Though tiring and all.. but it was all worthwhile and worth it..
I remembered as I was looking at the clock on Saturday, it was about to be 7pm. We had just finished going about the last run through, rushing through dinner and all.. doing everything we should be doing..except PRAY. It was at that moment, that we gathered everyone together and prayed.. We committed the time to God, we prayed for the whole event that will be taking place soon, we prayed for the people coming and all who will be there..
and well, although nothing BIG or miraculous took place immediately.. there wasnt an inflooding of overwhelming response of people coming in.. But as we started the programme, as we started praising God.. I saw 2 girls coming in.. (friends of Ivor from another church)…
That moment.. I was reminded by God.. that we were all too focus on the numbers that were coming for the event, that we forgot the whole point.. GOD is the one who has the ability to touch lives and change hearts… the numbers do not matter, its the individual heart attitude that He is interested in…GELebration didnt turn out to be much of an outreach event.. but more of a time of truly seeking God and praising and worshipping Him as a Youth group..
Not sure for all, but I for one was touched by the presence of God there and then.. that tears started to well up… I thank God for HIS amazing Love and grace for us…
GELebration left me feeling that it was a great and wonderful event.. but I serve a even more Wonderful and Greater God who cares about the Heart more then the Numbers…. =) when heart attitude is right..more hearts will come in to be touched and changed…
So people…Show God to the people out there in the way we lead our lives, in the way we conduct our lives…..

I am always amazed by what God has done for His creations. First, He created Man named Adam. Next, He provided for Man. Gave the Man a partner too, named Eve. When Man sinned, God didn’t give up on Man. He still provide a way for reconciliation between Man and Him. Through Jesus.
I can always ask this question, why did God not just give up on His ‘project’ since it is no longer the way it was meant for at the beginning. I know there is a slight chance that I will give up if it was ME.. and the fact is God didn’t give up. Not for me and you. Not for the WORST sinners even.
As what was recorded in the bible, He even wants us to preach the good news to the ends of the earth. Such a heart of God. I can never comprehend the depth of His love for us – His Project. For us, if we put in efforts in a project, we know that we can get good results (most of the times). But for God, He puts in so much time, energy and even, sacrificed Jesus Christ to die for our sins. (Did He get anything from us?)
Let us open our eyes slightly wider to see what God has done for us.
